Senior Account Executive
Build Relationships. Move Great Work Forward. Make an Impact.
At Augustine, great client partnerships are built on trust, thoughtful communication, and a genuine commitment to doing meaningful work well.
We’re looking for a Senior Account Executive who can bring those qualities to the day-to-day client experience—someone who is organized, proactive, curious, and confident navigating the moving pieces of an integrated agency environment.
In this role, you’ll be a key connection point between our clients and our agency teams. You’ll help turn client needs into clear action, keep projects moving, collaborate across creative, digital, production, and other disciplines, and help ensure the work we deliver meets both client expectations and Augustine’s standards.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced account professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, managing details, and being part of work that makes a difference.
What You’ll Do
Build Strong Client Partnerships
- Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for assigned client accounts, providing responsive, professional, and solutions-oriented service.
- Build trusted relationships with client contacts and decision-makers through strong communication, follow-through, and a deep understanding of their needs.
- Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business, objectives, audiences, priorities, and scope of work.
- Connect client needs to Augustine’s capabilities and integrated marketing solutions.
- Partner with the Account Director and account team to support client priorities, account strategy, and opportunities for continued growth.
- Anticipate client needs and look for opportunities to strengthen relationships and improve the overall client experience.
Keep Great Work Moving
- Translate client requests and approved plans into clear direction for internal agency teams.
- Coordinate with creative, digital, production, accounting, and other agency partners to move projects forward effectively.
- Develop and manage creative briefs, work orders, project documentation, and other materials needed to initiate and execute work.
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and approved budgets, communicating changes or potential issues proactively.
- Review and proof work for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client expectations before delivery.
- Maintain accurate information within agency workflow, project management, and financial systems.
- Help ensure work remains aligned with approved scopes of work and established agency processes.
Communicate & Collaborate
- Serve as a strong communication bridge between clients and internal agency teams.
- Keep stakeholders informed of project status, decisions, changes, risks, and next steps.
- Collaborate across disciplines to bring together the right expertise and deliver strong client solutions.
- Identify and communicate significant client, budget, timing, scope, or resource concerns to the appropriate account leader.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, production activities, shoots, and other client engagements as needed.
AI, Innovation & Operational Efficiency
At Augustine, innovation isn’t limited to technology. We believe it’s about continually looking for better ways to work, solve problems, and create value.
In this role, you will:
- Use approved AI tools, technology, automation, and agency systems thoughtfully to improve efficiency, organization, communication, research, and client service.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce unnecessary steps, minimize rework, and improve the quality and consistency of client deliverables.
- Look for practical ways to improve project visibility, documentation, communication, and follow-through.
- Stay curious about emerging technologies, marketing trends, consumer behavior, and new approaches that may benefit our clients or agency.
- Bring forward ideas that improve collaboration, processes, resource utilization, or the overall client experience.
- Adapt to new tools and processes and support their effective adoption within the team.
- Balance efficiency and innovation with quality, accuracy, client expectations, approved scope, and responsible use of agency resources.
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years of relevant agency experience, preferably in an integrated marketing, advertising, communications, or related environment.
- Experience managing client relationships and coordinating multiple projects or workstreams in a deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in destination marketing, travel and tourism, CPG, or related industries is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing, consumer behavior, digital marketing, social media, creative services, and production.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling client and agency matters.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a highly interconnected environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work across a variety of settings, including office, remote, client locations, meetings, events, and production environments.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
The Skills That Will Help You Succeed
- Integrated Marketing: Working knowledge of how creative, digital, social, media, production, and other marketing disciplines work together to support client objectives.
- Account & Project Management: Proficiency with agency project management, workflow, timekeeping, financial management, and communication platforms.
- Brief & Documentation Development: Ability to develop clear creative briefs, work orders, project documentation, and client-facing materials.
- Budget & Scope Awareness: Working knowledge of project budgets, scopes of work, estimates, and the financial considerations that affect client engagements.
- Marketing & Consumer Insights: Understanding of consumer behavior, marketing trends, digital channels, and social media as they relate to client strategies and campaigns.
- Presentation & Communication Tools: Proficiency with common presentation, collaboration, and productivity tools.
- Quality & Proofing: Strong ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, missing information, and potential issues in marketing materials and project documentation.
- Technology & AI Fluency: Ability to learn and effectively apply new technologies, automation, and approved AI tools to support client service, productivity, and agency operations.
How You’ll Show Up
We’re looking for someone who brings more than account-management experience. The right person will demonstrate:
- Client Partnership: Builds trust through responsiveness, credibility, proactive communication, and understanding of client needs.
- Accountability & Ownership: Follows through on commitments, takes responsibility for assigned work, and addresses issues rather than allowing them to linger.
- Communication: Communicates clearly, professionally, and proactively with clients and colleagues.
- Organization & Attention to Detail: Manages multiple priorities and recognizes details that can affect quality, timing, or client expectations.
- Collaboration: Works effectively across disciplines and values the expertise each team brings.
- Judgment & Problem-Solving: Thinks through challenges, identifies practical solutions, and knows when to seek guidance.
- Adaptability: Remains effective when priorities, timelines, client needs, and project requirements change.
- Strategic Mindset: Understands the connection between client objectives, agency capabilities, and opportunities to strengthen relationships and grow accounts.
- Professionalism & Integrity: Conducts business with discretion, reliability, honesty, and respect.
- Curiosity & Continuous Learning: Stays interested in the client, the industry, emerging trends, and new ways of working.
