Growing up the youngest of three sisters on a Wilton farm, Debbie wasn’t exactly your average kid. While most of her pals were firing up their Easy Bake ovens, Debbie was firing up her twirling batons (literally!) and tossing swirls of fire high into the air. Debbie has never stopped playing with fire and making sparks fly, but now it’s with her innovative ideas and solid expertise. A creative force for more than 30 years, Debbie heads up one of the top advertising agencies in Northern California and has led her creative team in concepting for all major accounts. Her inventive approach to advertising and leadership has earned her the reputation for award-winning creative, unparalleled service and the distinction as Ad Person of the Year. Naturally creative and a passionate writer, Debbie started Augustine with the same exuberance that she has for life, and that “joie de vivre” continually reflects the vision and philosophy of the entire agency.
As Debbie will tell you, “We work one-on-one with our clients, who are more than business associates. They’re our friends. Together, we soar in a limitless sky. That’s the true key to success.”
We’re convinced that Mike is a superhero disguised as our creative director. He creates beauty. He slays deadlines. He puts out fires. He elevates clients and experiences to an entirely new place. He also once saved someone’s life. See, total superhero.
By day, Mike leads his creative team in concepting campaigns, developing brands and managing his impressive crew of designers. By night, he’s thinking of ways to make everything from almonds to avocados to POS to UI/UX look and sound irresistible through extensive campaign and print/digital art direction and design.
When he’s not leaping tall branding concepts in a single bound, Mike loves holding hands with his wife while taking a long walk on the beach, shredding the gnar on a wakeboard, and playing with his energetic kids, sans his cape, of course.
As account director, Lindsay consistently hits it out of the park (and not just because she’s a die-hard San Francisco Giants fan who happens to looks fabulous in black and orange). With an adventurous passion for travel, Lindsay’s a natural when it comes to destination marketing. She’s a master strategist who executes long-term marketing plans for clients in the destination, hospitality, tourism, wine, and food industries, all with spot-on insight and success. Under her leadership, Lindsay and her team consistently scale new heights in the business, delighting clients and attaining numerous ADDY awards from the Sacramento Ad Club.
When taking time off from developing the ultimate tourism experience, Lindsay’s most likely playing with her beloved pups, pushing through a spinning class, or catching a Giants game with her husband and family.
Here’s a guy from Little Rock who had his Bar Mitzvah in Taichung, Taiwan, went the distance as a University of Iowa Hawkeye, loves the Caribbean’s white sands and crystalline waters, and wants to live in a world where everyone smiles and says, “Hello!”. Yeah, we kind of want to be Keith in our next life. Or at least live next door to him.
We’re so glad he’s landed in our world not only because he lives out loud, but because he’s a natural leader in the planning and execution of Augustine’s growth as a strategic partner to current and prospective clients. With 25-plus years’ experience “helping people sell stuff,” Keith has worked with numerous Blue Chip brands and advertising agencies. Keith was president and founding partner in a leading Minneapolis creative shop and was one of the key players in developing and executing the “That Was Easy” campaign for Staples.
When he’s not envisioning and exploring ways to grow Augustine in new and exciting directions, Keith is exploring ways to be a terrific dad to his two college-age sons (both advertising/design majors) and an even more terrific husband to his bride of “28 years in a row!”
So until we live in a place where everyone really does smile and says “Hello!”, the next best thing is knowing that there’s a Keith Sherman running around out there in the world. And the World According to Keith is a wonderful world indeed.
Kevin is what happens when your EVP is an MVP, too. He’s a designer, a devoted dad, a dreamer, a discoverer. And that’s just the “D’s.”
Kevin lives up to his alias – Chief Doer of All Things – with great success every day. With more than 22 years of agency experience under his belt, Kevin is a seasoned pro who’s worked in many agencies designing, developing and programming award-winning corporate brands, advertising campaigns, digital marketing and retail promotions for clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. At our agency, Kevin serves as a strategic advisor on key accounts while managing aspects of creative, digital, production, technology and operations. We also love the fact that Kevin puts his heart (and it’s a big one) into growing and nurturing our company culture, ensuring that our agency is a place where teams thrive like never before.
Off the clock, Kevin will tell you about his great loves – his amazing wife and two beautiful daughters, his church, his faith, airplanes, history, road trips, and creating a world where there’s always enough time to play.
In these parts, Lee is known for her uncanny ability to create things that sparkle and captivate. Like her jewelry designs. And her dazzling marketing strategies. What else would one expect of a well-spoken marketing pro from Gerrards Cross who dreams of visiting the Sphinx and still adores gooseberry crumble, Dr. Who, and long, brisk walks through hardwood forests? “Let’s face it,” says Lee. “Is there really anything better?”
On the business front, Lee’s got Ti-clad marketing experience combined with an innate passion for research and strategy. Motivated by that unbeatable combo, Lee’s got an impressive mix of successfully marketed brands to her name, including Honda Motorcycles, Bridgestone Tires, John Hardy Jewelry and the State of Virginia. When she’s not leading the charge and blazing new trails for clients with her enthusiastic team, you’ll find her delving into the latest consumer research and trends analysis. Sometimes just for fun. And then you’ll quite possibly find her taking a long walk in the forest, contemplating her next mind-blowing marketing move.
Because let’s face it. Is there really anything better?
